Who we are
Rattle is run by James Boardwell and Rob Lee, who employ a small team of researchers, developers and designers and use a trusted network of contractors to scale up when required.
James Boardwell, Design Research lead
James is an expert in social research and design methods. Prior to Rattle he worked at the BBC as a Research Manager and Producer. He is currently researching communications hierachies and mobile use.

Rob Lee, Technical lead
Rob is a Software Engineer, Rails champion and hardware hacker supremo. He previously worked at Logica, one of the UK’s largest system integrators, and Energis (now Cable & Wireless UK), a provider of access for clients such as Orange and the BBC. In his time he has worked on a variety of projects such as large scale internet provision, enterprise asset management systems and national e-commerce deployments.

Frankie Roberto, Interaction Design lead
Frankie is a web native, and has an expert understanding of the interaction patterns of social media. He was previously Web Producer at the Science Museum, where he developed several user-generated content projects. Frankie is currently studying the interaction design of theme parks and visitor attractions.
